Poetic City June 10, 2009

Bring your picnic baskets to the "front lawn" of Poets House's future home in Battery Park City for this evening of readings and music. The evening will feature the poetic voices of Jane Hirshfield, Major Jackson, Ed Sanders, and Brenda Shaughnessy. Musical artists Don Byron, Vijay Iyer and Joy Askew will perform the music of vocalist and composer Meredith Monk.
