George Grall, renowned photographer for National Geographic and the National Aquarium, will present his breathtaking images of springtime pools – above and below the water – of the life that emerges for only a short period of time before the summer heat erases that habitat. For those of you who are photographers, he will also describe what it takes to get such amazing photographs – what you need to know about life cycles, light, and behaviors; and how to capture the uniqueness of each creature. Fee: $7.00, children & students free.
