Post Wide Yard Sale April 26, 2008

Fort Bliss hosts the annual Post Wide Yard Sale from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. on April 26, in all housing units on main post, Biggs, Beaumont, Logan Heights, Hayes and 801 Housing (off Martin Luther King Blvd.). Those who want to participate in the yard sale may simply display their items during the designated times; no formal permission is required. This event is open to the El Paso and surrounding communities. All guests entering Fort Bliss property will be required to have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and valid car registration and safety inspection sticker; and will be subject to vehicle search. Operation Santa Clause will gladly accept donations of any unsold yard sale items. They would appreciate donations of toys of all types and ages groups, as well as children's clothes. Donations can be made at the Operation Santa HQ, Bldg. 1123, Baldwin St., Ft Bliss. Operation Santa is open Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After hours donations can be made at the 24 Hr drop box located on site. Pick-up arrangements can be made for large donations by contacting SFC Crusoe at 588-8902 or 568-1010.
