Players Closet Sale
The Charlotte Players and Charlotte Players Kids On Stage productions will be holding their first annual Players Closet Sale, on Saturday, April 11, 2009. This unique sale of formalwear will be held at the Sprinkles Ice Cream location just outside of the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall from 9am to 3pm. New and barely used eveningwear including, Prom, Wedding, Bridesmaid, and Flower Girl Dresses, Men’s Suits and Tuxes, and children’s formal wear will be there to choose from. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to benefit the Charlotte Players and the Kids OnStage Summer Workshops, to make the summer programming more affordable in these hard economic times. We will hold a Raffle for a Gift Certificates from local businesses for everything from Dry cleaning to Dinner For Two. We will also be taking Mother's Day pictures for the Kids at a cost of 5.00 each. Christine Cunningham of Creations Unlimited, will be donating her time and skill for this portion of the event. What A Great Gift for MOM! There will also be coin donation drive, Pennies for Players, so bring your jars and bags of pennies for this worthy cause. They add up!
Come out on Saturday the April the 11th and enjoy the fun and a Sprinkles Ice Cream! We will be accepting clothing donations and consignment wear starting Monday, March 16th at the Charlotte Players administrative offices located at Charlotte Trades Center, 1225 Tamiami Trail, in Port Charlotte.
