Potluck in a Pasture June 13, 2010

The Chatham County Arts Council partners with Central Carolina Community College to share the county’s rich agricultural and artistic heritage and environment with visitors and local citizens. Author Clyde Edgerton (www.clydeedgerton.com) will give a reading and perform music, with more music performed by The Kickin Grass Band (www.kickingrass.com).

Guests are invited to mingle with working artists and Plein Air painters in a beautiful farm setting, enjoy a farm tour and homemade food made with fresh, local ingredients. Learn to make bread and pizza, compost and vermiculture, and more!

Tickets will be available online at www.chathamarts.org and at the ChathamArts Gallery (11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, 115 Hillsboro St., Pittsboro, NC).
