Praakrut 2008 November 29, 2008

With the aim of creating an awareness among our fellow beings about Ecological Conservation and Social Entrepreneurship, students of CSIM, Bangalore chapter are conducting PRAAKRUT 2008.

This follows Blossoms, an event (painting competition and exhibition), for / of children, conducted last year (2007) at Forum.

PRAAKRUT, to be held on 30th Nov, 2008, will include -
A) Science Exhibition for school students of class VI to X. the students may participate under the categories of Seniors (Classes VI, VII) and Juniors (Classes VIII, IX and X)
B) An activity day for children to learn and do !
C) A Painting competition

This event would also have NGOs participating with their exhibits and putting up stalls.
All participants would be awarded certificates.
Winners in each category of the exhibition, and the painting competition will be awarded with special CSIM certificates & trophies.

A nominal registration fee will be charged for the students, which will be waived for Students from Govt., schools and NGOs.

The proceeds will be used towards charity.
