Prepared Childbirth - Babycare Basics January 5, 2010

This class prepares the expectant mother and her support person for baby's birth. It includes discussions of pregnancy, labor & delivery, childbirth choices, anesthesia, cesarean birth, postpartum care, a tour of the Women's Center, transition into parenthood and basics of baby care. Relaxation & breathing techniques are taught & practiced. Those enrolled for Prepared Childbirth Refresher attend the first 3 classes of the 5 week series - the 4th class (tour) is optional at no additional charge.Who Should Enroll: Enroll expectant mothers.
