Rae Morris is proud to announce the release of her new 3-track EP, ‘Grow’, due out on 18th November on Atlantic Records. The EP was recorded in London and Rae’s hometown of Blackpool in October 2012 and was produced by Ben Garrett, aka Fryars.
Rae Morris is a twenty-year old singer-songwriter, who only recently discovered her voice and started writing and performing. Having left college just last year, Rae spent the rest of 2011 gigging in her hometown and embarking on support slots across the country.
2012 has seen Rae move on to bigger and bigger shows, supporting the likes of Noah and the Whale and Bombay Bicycle Club on their nationwide tours, as well as playing festivals, including Bushstock, Dot To Dot, Kendal Calling, Lounge On The Farm, Rockness, The Great Escape, Belladrum, Hop Farm and Deershed, to name a few. September saw Rae playing her first headline London show, at Cecil Sharp House, which was completely sold out.
One of Rae’s earlier tracks, ‘Don’t Go’, was chosen to feature on the last ever episode of the TV series Skins in April. The accompanying video of Rae performing that track live has had a staggering 285,000 views since then. She was also ‘adopted’ by Burberry, recording 2 acoustic sessions for the design house (‘Wait A While’ and ‘Back To Front’) and having her song ‘Walls’ featured on the Burberry catwalk during London Fashion week.
Rae is currently working on her debut album, due in 2013. For now, fans can download the free Blueprint Demos EP from her website and download the Grow EP from 18th November.
