Ben Russell, former Assistant Director in the Department of Early Childhood for the Boston Public Schools, has also served as the Principal of the East Zone Early Learning Center in Dorchester. He began his career in the Boston Public Schools as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher at the John F. Kennedy School in Jamaica Plain. Ben served on the Board of the MA Department of Early Education and Care. He was one of nine leaders in the field to be appointed by the Governor to serve on this board at its inception. He chaired the Public Policy committee for the Governing Board of the Boston Association for the Education of Young Children.
The Early Childhood Professional Association (TECPA)'s events are held at the Morse Institute Library, Lebowitz Meeting Hall, in downtown Natick, MA. Events include a light dinner at 6:00 p.m. with program running from 6:30-8:30.
TECPA's Professional Development Programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of early childhood and elementary educators, afterschool professionals, program administrators, and family childcare providers.
