The ukulele has been reborn. In Michael Wagner's hands, the ukulele is as much a percussion instrument as it is a stringed instrument, with sonic capabilities most would neither expect or even believe possible. People who have heard Wagner's recordings assume that the ukulele and percussion are multi-tracked, and even those who have seen live shows have a hard time connecting what they see and what they hear.
