REEFER MADNESS: The HIT Musical! December 31, 2008

Produced by Midtown/Sheri Grace Productions at Theatre 99, "REEFER MADNESS: The HIT Musical" was inspired by the original 1936 film of the same name. This raucous musical comedy takes a tongue in cheek look at the hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downward spiral filled with sex, violence and evil jazz music! You won't be able to resist the spoofy fun of REEFER MADNESS! The addictive and clever musical numbers range from big Broadway style to swing, and gospel. Contains adult humor religious parody, and (simulated) drug use, so may not be suitable for people under 12. The musical will be directed by Ryan Ahlert with Musical direction by Robbi Kenney, choreography by Rachel Hedrick, set and technical design by Robin Burke and costumes by Jeannie Joyner.
