Reiki, an ancient Japanse system of energy healing, has been traditionally used for human healing.  Reiki uses spiritually guided energy to restore the flow of energy to the body. Reiki treats the whole being, addressing problems and heals at all levels: physical, spiritual, mental and emotional. It restores balance, reduces the effects of stress, boosts the immune systems, facilitates conventional medicine, and much more! Reiki is simple but profound and can be learned by anyone.

In this class you will be introduced to the history of Reiki, its principals and precepts; and you will receive the level 1 attunment & certificate for people which will help you offer Reiki to yourself, people and animals.

Reiki has been gaining in popularity as a holistic healing method for use with our animals  as it opens a window to our deeper energetic connection with these unique beings.  Reiki's gentle, noninvasive nature is ideal for relieving stress, inducing relaxation and easing end of life issues.
 
This class is scheduled during the day for the benefit of retired persons or parents with children who are back in school.

The cost is $100 for the 5 hour class. Pre-registration is required.

Mary Gillen is a practicing Reiki Master and Healer. She also teaches Reiki with Animals, Animals in Distress and Transition, and Reiki II Certification classes.
