Rob Mies: Live Bats September 16, 2012

Rob Mies, director of the Organization for Bat Conservation and national TV personality, is returning to Owensboro with many of his bat friends, big and small. Expect to see a humongous Malayan flying fox, the world's largest bat with a wing-span of 6 feet; an African Straw colored fruit bat; an Egyptian Fruit Bat, just like Stellaluna and a KY native Big Brown bat. These live bat encounters provide an educational trip into the mysterious world of bats and explore their benefits, habitats, and nocturnal strategies.
