Rocky Mountain Sacred Harp Convention September 23, 2006

Join us for a weekend of traditional shapenote singing from the Sacred Harp. This powerful, full-voiced singing is an American tradition with roots going back to colonial New England. All are welcome -- beginners, experienced singers, and listeners; adults and children. A singing school($5 admission; 7 to 9 pm at 1300 Girard NE) will also be held the Friday evening before for those who want to learn more about this music.
