Romeo and Juliet February 15, 2013

In partnership with the Chicago Park District, Fury Theatre presents William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

For their third Young Performers Production, Fury Theatre is changing it up, and, as always, taking on a more ambitious project than the last. With a cast of actors ages 13-18, Fury Theatre is tackling perhaps the most famous love story of all time, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

This production strives to extract all the action from the text, including plenty of swordplay, to make it accessible to audiences of all ages. These young actors will perform an abridged version using Shakespeare’s original language. Experience Romeo and Juliet as you’ve never seen it before!
