This 'Strength, Form and Run' 3-class session held on three consecutive Thursdays (April 16, 23 and 30) is a must if you want to learn how to run strong and prevent injuries before you begin the full training program. The class meets indoors at The Running Center for 30 to 40 minutes of specific strength, running form and breathing exercises (including Runditioning™ exercises), and then progresses to Central Park for a 20 to 30 minute instructional run, putting to work the information you have just learned. The classes are developed and coached by The Running Center's Owner and Head Coach, Coach Mindy.

YOU'LL LEARN TO...
• Strengthen running-specific muscles
• Learn the secrets of better breathing
• Have better overall running form to help to prevent injuries
• Improve your stride length and stride frequency and understand the difference
• Develop stronger running arms to help you run up hills faster and more efficiently
• Discover why and how you need to change your form to run uphill, downhill and on flat ground
• and more

WHO SHOULD JOIN
• This class is open to runners of all levels and is strongly suggested for all runners who are also joining one of the full training programs (Beginner, Half-Marathon or Marathon).
• The classes have been specifically positioned on the yearly calendar to correspond just prior to each full training program kick-off meeting, so that you can start the full training program with proper knowledge.
