What is in your favorite salsa recipe? Do you like tomatoes and peppers? A little cilantro and onion for a spicy flavor? Come prepare the soil and plant our Salsa Garden - we will even put in some corn seeds for the chips. In September, come back to harvest and make delicious fresh salsa and some homemade corn chips - yum-yum! - - Up to three children per adult. Fees apply to all participants, both adults and children. "Backpack babies" (under 12 months and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, though please mention these participants when registering. The fee for children between the ages of 12 and 17 months is half the regular fee. Mass Audubon family memberships must be current to receive member rates; please consider joining when registering. - - Things You Should Know: - - -Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of the visitors and the animals we care for. - - -Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. - - -Programs include time indoors, as well as outside, and will run rain or shine; please come dressed comfortably for our outdoor adventures! If your program is not mentioned, it will take place as scheduled. - - -In programs where there is a farm to food connection, snacks from the farm may be incorporated. Registration is required.
