Sapphire Laguna will be offering a prix fixe brunch for Father’s Day, featuring a three-course menu created by Chef Azmin Ghahreman offering global tastes for every palate. Celebrate “the man of the house” while dining underneath a marigold umbrella on Sapphire Laguna’s patio, with a beautiful panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. The Father’s Day Brunch will be served on Sunday, June 20, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at $45 per person and $22 for children ages 5 to 12 (exclusive of beverage, tax and gratuity). Chef Azmin’s first course offers Indonesian Chilled Shrimp, accompanied by green papaya, hot peanut sauce and curried shallots. For the main course, Chef Azmin created several different choices, including: A Study of Eggs Benedict, featuring a toasted English muffin, Canadian bacon, hollandaise sauce, fried green tomato, shaved tasso ham and country gravy; Spicy Halibut and Andouille Sausage on Grits with fried egg, hot pepper cream sauce and crispy okra; and an Aussie Lamb Burger on Soft Brioche Bun with fried egg, pickled beets, chile mayonnaise and sweet potato fries.

Sapphire Laguna’s special Father’s Day desserts are unforgettable, combining creative global flavors with traditional favorites. The brunch includes a choice of Rocky Road Ice Cream Cake with hot fudge and butterscotch, toasted marshmallows and candied walnuts; Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie with vanilla ice cream; or White Coffee Panna Cotta with caramel chantilly and cinnamon streusel.
