Darien, rising Soul/R&B star, winner of 2010 Budweiser Superfest "Battle for the Crown", SoulTracks "Artist to Watch" and performer on 2011 Capital Jazz Cruise, will headline our show performing music from his hit CD "If These Walls Could Talk." Highlighting also some of the best emerging and established Soul and R&B artists from the DC Metro area including: Dionne, Deborah Bond, Eric Scott, Levi Stephens, Lea Morris, TalumiDE, Dumi Right, Sol Roots, Jamie Boyd, Devin Kowl and Kriss Mincey. Cleveland Spears, DJ from WPFW show Fantastic Fridays will interview Darien on his approach and success in writing great and timeless music.
