SCCA 4th Annual Waggin’ Tails and Nature Trails
The Second Chance Center for Animals is teaming up with the Arboretum to give the public a chance to bring their mutts for a strut on the Arboretum trails on Saturday, Sept. 26th from 8am-11am for the 4th annual Waggin’ Tails and Nature Trails. The event will offer Flagstaff dog owners the rare opportunity to enjoy the trails at the Arboretum with their canine companions- where usually no dogs are allowed. There will be animal welfare groups and games along the walking trail and snacks and beverages for canines and their human friends.
Each walker will pay a registration fee of $20 for their first dog and $10 for additional dogs. Registration fees include a raffle ticket, breakfast snacks and beverages. In additional, there will be tons of raffle prizes and adoptable pets. You can pre-register by calling SCCA at 928-526-5964 or register the day of at the Arboretum The event will reach a wide variety of pet owners and animal lovers with proceeds benefiting SCCA and the Arboretum at Flagstaff.
