Learn Adobe Photoshop CS-4 with F-11 Photographic Supplies in a two day workshop, taught by Kathy Eyster.

Photography is the art of painting with light. This workshop will develop your ability to see and work with light, shadow, shape and color in your own images. Explore how these visual concepts can improve every aspect of your digital workflow, from capturing a digital image, to organizing your photos, navigating Adobe Photoshop CS-4 and making prints.

In this workshop, Kathy will demonstrate the importance of proper exposure, and discuss basic Photoshop CS-4 operation. You'll learn about layers, palettes, color correction, and non-destructive editing techniques. Discover the how, why and when of sharpening, appropriate file size and resolution choices for the final form of your picture. Adobe Bridge and Adobe Camera RAW will also be covered. You will be able to duplicate the techniques later, thanks to Kathy’s detailed book that is custom written for this class.

To get the full benefit of this class, you should know how to operate your digital camera; understand how to use the operating system on your computer and have Adobe Photoshop CS-4 installed and ready to use in class. Be sure to update your copy of Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw prior to class. If you need assistance with installing a trial version of Photoshop or updating your copy, please set up a time for us to help you with this step before class starts.

Take your Photoshop skill set to the next level with Kathy’s expert guidance. There are lots of Photoshop classes available, but few taught by truly skilled instructors. Join in Friday and Saturday, March 27th and 28th. The class meets from 9 to 5 PM on Friday and from 9 to 3 PM on Saturday and costs $299.99. Pre-registration is required. Register and learn about this and other F-11 workshops when you stop by the store at 16 East Main in historic downtown Bozeman, visit www.f11photo.com or call 406-586-3281.
