Instructor: Beth RyzaAge Range: Teen & AdultsThis class will open your eyes to the many ways one can see oneself. Students may choose from several different medias including pencil, charcoal, oil crayon, mixed media, or collage. Students may choose to use a mirror or to work from a favorite photograph or try both. The teacher will encourage students to draw from within to express who they are through the use of color, shape, texture, line, and composition. Basic proportion of the human head will be discussed as well as examples of self-portraits by many famous artists. While some fundamentals of drawing may be helpful, beginners are more than welcome because there are no mistakes. Location: Studio
