During the full moon of May, thousands of horseshoe crabs trudge onto the beach for a frenzy of mating and egg laying and deposit uncountable green eggs in the sand. At that same time, millions of shorebirds arrive in New Jersey to feast on the eggs. BBNC's Mike Weilbacher and Wyncote Audubon's Martin Selzer will lead the expedition to find the shorebirds at the peak of their migration. Vist a variety of beaches, search for birds and have dinner at a seafood resaturant. After dinner go back to the beach to watch the horseshoe crabs. Bring a brown-bag lunch. Ticket price includes transportation.
