Shades of Green April 4, 2009

An eco-friendly event for the entire family. It will be held on the lawn of the Bob Houston Park, home of the Nyberg Swanson house... under the sprawling trees. Enjoy learning about green alternatives, recycling, organic foods and more. A host of environmentally minded vendors will offer healthy foods, solar power alternatives, lighting solutions, home energy audits, natural and organic products and dozens of other items designed to help Dania Beach residents save money and save the environment at the same time.
Enjoy arts & crafts, merchandise, organic foods & beverages, kids activities, live acoustic music, and a FREE Chalk Art contest for all ages! Friends of the Library will have Reading Circles for 3-4 year olds. Something of interest for everyone.
