The Shine Stand-Up Comedy Showcase Returns with Mary Van Note Headlining on September 10th!

Comedians Eve David and Johnny Taylor present the 2nd Shine Stand-Up Comedy Showcase at Shine Coffeehouse on 14th and E Streets in Midtown, Sacramento, CA on September 10th. The event will be headlined by the star of IFC.com hit web series 'Gavin Really Loves Me', and critically acclaimed stand-up comedienne, Mary Van Note.

After a hugely successful inaugural event on August 20 headlined by John Ross, Shine's Stand-Up Comedy Showcase returns for September's 2nd Saturday. The event will also feature some of Northern California\'s most talented comedians. Carlos Rodriguez (The Punchline, Laughs Unlimited), Chazz Hawkins (The San Jose Improv, The Punchline), Stephen Ferris (The Rejects of Stand-Up), Daniel Humbarger (Laugh's Unlimted), Kareem Daniels (Winner of Stand-Up Shootout), and Daniel O'Connell (Sacramento Comedy Spot regular, Luna's), and Eve David (Luna\'s, The Punchline ) round out the amazing line-up. Johnny Taylor (Winner of Stand-Up Shootout, The Purple Onion) are your hosts for this amazing evening of comedy.

This event starts at 8pm. Cover is only $5 and Beer, Wine, and Food will be available for purchase.
