Slaton Rural Health Fair September 12, 2009

Bring your family and friends to the largest rural health fair in West Texas. Over 100 health related organizations will be in one venue in downtown Slaton.

Come join the fun and get your chance to win prizes all day long including $500 in United Supermarket Gift Cards. Prizes will be given away throughout the entire event. You must be present to win. Grand prizes will be awarded at the close of the fair at 2 p.m.

Scheduled events include health screenings and information, a Texas Tech bicycle team ride into the canyon and back, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, a hula hoop contest, UBS Blood Drive.

Guest Speakers will be located in Slaton City Hall to discuss varied topics including Medicare, H1N1 (swine flu) virus, Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Juice Plus, and Obesity Prevention.
