The music selections reflect the vast compositional styles and changes spanning the 20th century, and will include Henry Fillmore’s Rolling Thunder March, Percy Grainger’s Children’s March, Vaclav Nelhybel’s Symphonic Movement, Vincent Persichetti’s Round Me Falls the Night, Warren Benson’s Solitary Dancer and Frank Ticheli’s Vesuvius. Guest artist Rhett Bender will perform the world premiere of Carlton Macy’s work for Alto Saxophone and Band, Duality.
