Spring Barrel Tasting. March 3, 2012

Barrel Tasting is truly the most spectacular event at Vartanyan Estate Winery. It is that time of year where we open our doors for you to visit the winery and sample our current wines from the barrels.

During Barrel tasting you would be able to taste the wines we plan to release in spring of 2012. We will create a Bordeaux style blend - a blend of the classic Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. You will taste those and other wines straight from the barrels and the blend. We will ask if you like the straight wines or the blend more. The one that will be the most unforgettable to everyone, will be the one getting bottled for May Spring Release. We are hoping that you will walk away from this experience and say “I am a wine lover, and I know how to create a wine!” On April 7th you are welcome back to bottle your own bottle of wine, that to be chosen for spring release.

Fee is $ 5 .00 per person and is waived with the purchase of wine per person. Wine club members are free. Reservations are not required.
