I know for some, this will be a little farther to drive. But other than dealing with the cold weather...the ballpark is a great place to have this event. I believe everyone will be impressed.
There are great (and inexpensive) hotels right in Comstock Park for lodging. If any of you choose to stay the weekend, Grand Rapids (within minutes from Comstock Park) has everything to offer. Every kind of entertainment, restuarnts, sites, etc.
So please, come and enjoy yourself !!!! You wont regret it !!!
A lot of breweries and pubs are running buses to the festival, if you want to go but are worried about the distance check with your local beer-house to see if they're doing anything. Also, http://www.mbgmash.org/?p=61 has a list of the breweries that will be present.

Bus tickets are now available for Ann Arbor area residents from Corner Brewery [http://www.cornerbrewery.com] or Arbor Brewing [http://www.arborbrewing.com].
Bus tickets are $30.00 before February 1, and $35.00 afterward. This cost does NOT include festival tickets - but last year included free beer on the bus as well as t-shirt and safe transportation! Act quickly, only 50 seats are available!
The bus leaves from Corner Brewery at 8:00AM and then Arbor Brewing at 8:30AM. Each location will be open approximately a half hour before the bus leaves, to keep people warm and for complimentary carry-out coffee and bagels.
