Sprucing Up Your Cupcakes September 20, 2012

We will show you how to spruce up your cupcakes so you can impress your friends and family. You will learn a few different ways to ice your cupcakes like the pros do using a round, open star, closed star and the French tip. You will be shown our favorite methods for filling your cupcakes and dipping them. We will cover different ways to spruce up your cupcakes using sprinkles, pearls, disco dust, airbrushing (can spray), and chocolate and fondant accents. We will also discuss different types of icings and their applications. We will hand out our recommendation of a buttercream recipe. You will need to bring a few tips, decorating bags, a coupler, 8 jumbo cupcakes and a box to take home your cupcakes in. All other supplies will be provided.
