St. Jude Give Thanks. Walk. November 19, 2011

Katharine McPhee and thousands of New Yorkers will lace up their shoe laces and join St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® supporters in 80 communities across the country for the St. Jude Give Thanks. Walk.™ This exciting family friendly noncompetitive 5K walk is the official kick-off event for the national St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign and brings individuals and teams together over the holidays to raise money to support the children of St. Jude. The walk will begin at Foley Square in Manhattan. Foley Square is in lower Manhattan by City Hall, and is bordered by Worth Street, Centre Street and Lafayette Street. The walk will proceed over the Brooklyn Bridge and end in Cadman Plaza Park in Brooklyn. Subway transportation is available from Cadman Plaza Park.Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.; Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
