Standing By... Tammy Wynette: Command Performances June 22, 2012

Renaissance Theatre is proud to present the new musical, Standing By…Tammy Wynette, playing for one weekend only at the Baytree Council for the Performing Arts in Red Bay, Alabama. Featuring Decatur native, Annaliese Canada as Tammy and Charelle Hudgins as Donna Chapel. Barry Norwood is the musical director.
Several songs made famous by Tammy Wynette and George Jones will be performed amoung the 26 songs in the show. Standing By…, written by Robert Riddle Baker, is based on the true story of Donna Chapel, who at the age of 14 sang harmony and toured with Wynette who became her stepmother in 1967.
