Graduate of the University of Utah in music, lyric tenor Stanford Olsen is widely regarded as one of this generation's most versatile concert performers.The Salt Lake City native has sung with the world's foremost opera companies and with virtually every major orchestra in the United States, performing a wide-ranging repertoire from Bach to Bartok. An internationally acclaimed tenor and a much-sought after recitalist, Olsen has received two Grammy Award nominations, among many other honors. His frequent appearances with New York's Metropolitan Opera, his collaborations with the New York Philharmonic, and his recordings of Bach, Mozart, and Rossini have received widespread praise.
