This exhibit celebrates the achievements of Freelan Oscar "F. O." Stanley. F. O. first drove his Stanley Steamer automobile to Estes Park seeking to alleviate the symptoms of his tuberculosis. He quickly became enamored of the area and made this his summer residence. In the years to follow, he constructed a grand hotel and hydroplant, and was influential in transforming Estes Park from a rustic village to a premier tourist destination.
