Stephen Dinsmore: Inside & Outside July 6, 2010

This exhibition of new paintings represents Dinsmore's first solo show in Minneapolis in over ten years. Dinsmore, a Nebraska-born artist, resided in the Twin Cities off and on between 1977 and 2001. He currently lives in Lincoln where he keeps a home and studio. A well-known Midwestern artist, Dinsmore has exhibited extensively throughout the United States over the past twenty-five years. Included in the exhibition will be recent paintings that reflect Dinsmore's long-held fascination with interior and exterior landscapes. Working in a loose, painterly style, Dinsmore constructs poetic representations of his subjects.
