Bring your lawn chair and the whole family to beautiful Tracy Park in downtown Portsmouth this Saturday evening to enjoy a special musical evening and celebrate the Fourth of July.
First at 5:30 pm award winning and international known song writer and recording artist Steve Free takes the stage performing his distinctive brand of music that draws deeply on his Appalachian and Native American heritage.
You’ll feel like clapping your hands and stomping your feet and you’ll soon see why Steve has been labeled the “Appalachian Jimmy Buffett”.
Following Steve at 7:00 pm the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra will take the stage in their last performance of the season.
Maestro Dr. Carl Daehler will lead an accomplished ensemble of fifty local and regional musicians as they perform the very best in classical and pops music with many rousing renditions of patriotic favorites to honor the good ole USA on its birthday!
