Just a few weeks in to 2013, Steve Strongman has already achieved a years’ worth of accolades and recognition for his latest release "A Natural Fact", including a JUNO nomination for Blues Album of the Year. "I’ve dreamed about this for years and it has finally come true," Strongman said.
The JUNO nomination follows Strongman winning three Maple Blues Awards at the gala ceremony in January, where he received awards for Guitarist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and along with Rob Szabo, Recording/Producer of the Year for "A Natural Fact".

Strongman had been nominated for six Maple Blues Awards, including nominations in both categories for Electric Act of the Year and Acoustic Act of the Year, as well as Entertainer of the Year. Strongman also had the honour of performing at the gala awards concert, and a rousing showcase at Blues Summit

He has also been nominated in the category of Blues Artist or Group of the Year for the 13th Annual Independent Music Awards, to be held during Canadian Music Fest on March 22.
