Stone Marquez Casting Call June 30, 2009

Stone Marquez, an event planning specialty company focusing on events that help promote social and eco-friendly awareness, marketing new products, and companies, will host on August 15, 2009 the "Concept, Couture, Charity: A Fashion Show/Fundraiser For The Lupus Foundation" at BoConcept of Milford. The show is a mash up of music, visual art, and interior design in addition to fashions from boutiques and designers of Massachusetts, Connecticut, and surrounding areas. Proceeds from the show will go to the Connecticut chapter of the Lupus Foundation. Tickets are $20 each.

Casting calls for this event are still in progress and includes the following dates/places:

Tuesday, June 30, 3:30 pm at the Ivy Lounge (956 Chapel Street -- rear Temple Courtyard -- New Haven, CT 0510)
Sunday, July 5 TBD*
Tuesday, July 7, 3:30 pm at the Ivy Lounge (956 Chapel Street -- rear Temple Courtyard -- New Haven, CT 0510)
Saturday, July 11 TBD*

To participate as a model, the requirements for this show are as follows:

Males:
- Must be between the ages of 18-28
- Must be 5'10" and up
- Must wear a t-shirt, an undershirt, jeans, and dressy shoes
- Head shots/portfolio (optional)
Females:
- Must be between the ages of 18-28
- Must be 5'8" and up
- Must have their hair pulled back, wear a fitted t-shirt, jeans, and high heels
- Head shots/portfolio (optional)

*In the event of additional casting calls or cancellations, you will be notified as soon as possible. If you are interested in attending either Tuesdays or future casting calls, please let us know, so we can add you to our list of contacts. If neither dates listed are convenient and you would still desire to participate, please make an appointment by phone well in advance.

Please bear in mind, this is not a paid gig since this is for charity. However, there will be an opportunity for you to network with photographers and other labels who may offer paid gigs in the future. For photos of your work to add to your portfolio, please request a CD in advance.

To participate in this show as a designer, you are required to produce 8-12 pieces by July 15. Please make an appointment or attend one of the listed casting calls to show samples of your work in order to be considered for the show.
