What does diversity and inclusion have to do with the brain? When it comes to diversity and creating a high performing, inclusive work environment, does our brain work for us or against us? This session will examine the latest neuroscience findings, sharing insights from their new book Shaping the Evolutionary Brain: The Neuroscience of Inclusion on how the way the brain is naturally wired impacts our ability to be inclusive and create sustained positive behavior change. Participants will have the opportunity to explore key findings about the brain and learn a new brain-based framework for developing leadership and inclusion skills more effectively. Participants will be introduced to brain-based skills, tools and strategies for leaders and organizations to increase their competency of inclusion.
