Join us for the first 2011 production of the Summer Stage at BHSU with Love, Sex and the IRS, a comedy by Comedy by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, on July 7, 8, 9 at 7:30 p.m., and July 10 at 2:30 p.m.
With twists of fate, mistaken identities and hilarious comic lines, Love, Sex and the IRS is a wild farce about unemployed musicians Jon and Leslie, who room together in New York City. Jon has been filing tax returns listing the pair as married, and the IRS decides to investigate the "couple". Leslie masquerades as a housewife, aided by Jon's fiancee, Kate. Complicating matters further Leslie and Kate are having an affair, Jon's mother drops in to meet Kate, and Leslie's ex-girlfriend shows up.
