Presents

the Spring In-Her-Light Series

As the saying goes, "If you do what you've always done…you're gonna get what you've always gotten." So…do you keep struggling with a particular problem or problems to no avail? Do you feel like you've tried everything? Well, unless you've played with your problem, you haven't even started yet! Come and bring your most irritating issues to this playshop…and be prepared to get serious about silliness. We'll explore fun, loving ways to get unstuck and release fear so that you can have a life beyond limits. Learn to face your problems with courage and curiosity, with exercises that will give your imagination a workout. The Universe wants to play with us—so don't drop the ball! Join us as we learn to Tackle the Tough (trust me, wrestling can be fun).

***Wearing glitter, a wig, or a fun costume is highly recommended—but not required.***

The In-Her-Light Series® is a monthly workshop gathering of women of the African Diaspora. Each workshop is FREE and crafted to provide positive and inspiring opportunities for personal growth through self-discovery and conscious living. All workshops are participatory. We invite you to attend and enjoy these opportunities with us. All workshops will be held at the Thurgood Marshall Center, which is two blocks from the Green Line Metro (parking is available in front of the center). For more information about the workshop and to register, please send an e-mail to aawrc@aawrc.org or call 202-332-6561.
