Tailgate Party UT vs TCU September 8, 2007

Are you a Longhorn football fan? Come tailgate with us on game day before you go to the game. If you don't have tickets come watch with us and enjoy game day on campus!

At University Avenue Church we started a tradition last year of hosting tailgate parties focused on college students and families. Come join us as the tradition grows.
We hosted a national championship party in January of 2006 and from that great event we decided to host a tailgate party for UT home games. We recognized that many football fans are hesitant to come down on game day for various reasons, so we decided to open up our parking, our yard, and our buildings to serve the many people who come to campus for games. We are blessed to have a wonderful church facility located on the corner of MLK and University Avenue and we would like to share our corner with new friends. Come on down, we usually get started about 3 hours before game time and then most walk to the stadium for the game, and those who don't have tickets stay and watch on one of our big screen TV's in HD.

We are located at 1903 University Avenue on MLK directly below the South Mall of the UT Tower (across MLK from Bullock Museum). You'll see us out on the front lawn under the big tents setup beneath the trees.
