TECPA Presents, "An Overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders," presented by Karen Levine, Ph, D. November 30, 2011

Join us for our next TECPA program, "An Overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders," presented by Karen Levine, Ph, D. Psychologist, Developmental Specialist Helping Children with Challenges, Instructor, Harvard Medical School.

With one in 110 children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum there is an increasing need for understanding of this population. Karen Levine, Ph.D., Psychologist, will provide an introduction to the challenges, strengths and needs of children with Autism, PDD-NOS and Asperger's Disorder.  The presentation will include video clip examples of children, as well as resources for parents, educators and therapists.

The Early Childhood Professional Association (TECPA)'s Professional Development Programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of early childhood and elementary educators, afterschool professionals, program administrators, and family childcare providers.

TECPA events include a light dinner at 6:00 pm with program running from 6:30-8:30. Cost per person is $25.00 per program. For programming information, please contact Lori Davis at ldavis@tecpa.org.
