BQCM valued faculty member Terence Conley was sadly involved in a serious car accident in October and is currently in intensive care. His condition is serious but improving slowly week by week, the road to recovery will be very long and challenging. In effort to help Terence’s family during this difficult period, a benefit concert will be held at the Brooklyn Conservatory. The Conservatory invites one and all to enjoy some great music and asks the public to help us support Terence and his family
Terence Conley has an impressive resume, an exceptional pianist and dedicated educator he has played as part of the Count Basie Orchestra, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, and with Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers. He has performed for several theatrical productions including the US tour of “Ain’t misbehavin’” and the European Tour of “Sophisticated Ladies”. Terence has taught Piano, Rhythm and Drama for numerous schools and the Conservatory has been privileged to have him as a member of their faculty for the last 9 years.
