Learning to Breathe: An evening with Terry McMillan
A special reading at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue

As part of the 2012-2013 PEN/Faulkner Reading Series, author Terry McMillan will read at a special event held at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue. Tickets are $22 and will be available for purchase in the spring of 2013. The reading will be followed by a reception and book signing, and books by Terry McMillan will be available for purchase from our partners at Politics & Prose.

About the Author:

Terry McMillan fell in love with books as a teenager while working at the local library. She made her fiction debut with Mama, which won the American Book Award. She is also the author of best-selling novels including Waiting to Exhale, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, and The Interruption of Everything. Her most recent novel Getting to Happy is the much-awaited sequel to Waiting to Exhale.
