The Alameda Art Works is presenting its 3rd annual fundraising art show. In the past 2 years, the artists at the Alameda Art Works have contributed over $1000 each year, to the Sacred Heart Community Service. http://www.sacredheartcs.org/ The artists of The Alameda Art Works share the vision of SHCS of a community united to ensure that every child and adult is free from poverty. They believe that art can help make a difference in our community and hope this Open Studios will surpass previous donations.

Poncho Guevara, the Executive Director of Sacred Heart Community Service recently said, “Sacred Heart is thrilled by the leadership and generosity of the Alameda Art Works artists for again organizing an event where Artists stand up for families living in poverty. Their commitment is an inspiration to our work with thousands of families in need in our community."

Nearly 40 artists specializing in oil, water color, acrylic, mixed media, pastel paintings, jewelry, woodwork, photography and music will open their working studios to the public. The Alameda Art Works now boasts one of the largest, most diverse and lively artists’ communities in the Bay Area.
