The Twin Cities New Folk Collective (NFC) is pleased to present Canadian group the Arrogant Worms, who will perform on December 1st at the First Unitarian Society, 900 Mount Curve Avenue, Minneapolis at 7:30 pm. Tickets for this performance are $18 until December 1st and $20 at the door.
The Arrogant Worms travel the world extolling the virtues of the noble cow, taking Celine Dion down a notch and singing twisted lullabies to children. They’ve released ten records since 1992, providing tuneful and silly escapism all over North America and Australia and selling more than 150,000 albums along the way.
Since 1985, the New Folk Collective has offered high-quality concerts by acoustic artists from all over the world to Twin Cities audiences. NFC has brought well-known performers to the area for those who enjoy reminiscing with familiar songs, and has also introduced acoustic-music fans to today’s up-and-coming folk artists.
