The Blonde Thoery Launch Party March 10, 2007

Join us on Saturday, March 10th for cocktails, designer fashions and one of Boston’s hottest book launch parties of the year!

Queen Bee will be hosting the Boston launch party for celebrity designer Amy Tangerine’s spring 2007 line and Kristin Harmel’s second novel, THE BLONDE THEORY, on Saturday, March 10th from 6 to 9 p.m. Bacardi will be mixing specialty cocktails – a Tangerine-tini in Amy’s honor and a Blonde-tini in honor of Kristin’s novel.

Amy Tan, the founder of Amy Tangerine, grew up in Atlanta and still owns a home there. Her popular designer tees, sweats, dresses and other clothing items are sold in more than 200 boutiques worldwide and are worn by celebrities including Madonna, Hilary Swank, Ashlee Simpson, Keira Knightley and Meg Ryan. Amy will be doing a meet-and-greet and trunk show at the party.

Kristin Harmel, the author of THE BLONDE THEORY, is a People magazine contributor, a regular guest on television’s The Daily Buzz and the author of the popular debut novel HOW TO SLEEP WITH A MOVIE STAR, which Cosmopolitan magazine called “hilarious” and People magazine called “Bridget Jones-esque.”

Bacardi will be promoting THE BLONDE THEORY throughout the spring, with a short story by Kristin on their Web site and with party sponsorships for the book/fashion tour Kristin and Amy will embark on. Other major launch events will take place in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston.
