Who doesn't want to shut out the world sometimes? Well, David has gone and done it. He lives in his bathroom. He never comes out. David's mother feeds him thin, flat food she can slide under the door. He is writing his college thesis on a roll of toilet paper. He has everything he needs. When an accident occurs and Julie is introduced into his safe existence, David discovers that there might be something, or someone, on the other side of the door that would make it worth opening.
