Short Cuts Cinema screens The Cabin in the Woods (Drew Goddard, 2012) on Wednesday 31st October at 7.30pm in the Studio Theatre.

Five friends go to a remote cabin in the woods. Bad things happen. If you think you know the story, think again. From fan favourites Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard comes The Cabin in the Woods, a mind blowing horror film that turns the genre inside out. It's also fiendishly funny. Can you laugh and shriek at the same time - because you will need to!

Quiz Night 6.30pm - 7.30 pm

Join us in the bar, and over a drink and a bite to eat, test your film knowledge. A fun quiz with questions set by film guru Owen Evans, from Edge Hill University's Media department (Claudia Winkleman was busy but Owen kindly agreed to step in). 

There will be a prize for the winner and 2 runners up....
